In the Law it is written:
Cleanse the Land, for the Children only
are Sons of the Most High.
But my Lord says:
Every man is a son of God,
every woman a daughter of the Eternal One;
therefore love your enemies,
do good to those that hate you,
lest you be found with your brother's blood
upon your hands,
your sister
in penury upon your doorstep,
and your brothers' and your sisters' children
rising up in hatred against you
while the Most High turns his back on you
in despair.
